Periodic Mathieu functions plots for several orders and values of q

Here we present plots of angular (periodic) Mathieu functions. For q = 1 we have plots of even periodic Mathieu functions, orders 0-5, (compare with Fig. 20.2. p.725 in [1])

and plots of odd periodic Mathieu functions, orders 1-5, (compare with Fig. 20.3. p.726 in [1])

Also we have plots for q = 10 - even periodic Mathieu functions, orders 0-5 (compare with Fig. 20.4. p.726 in [1])

and plots of odd periodic Mathieu functions, orders 1-5 (compare with Fig. 20.4. p.726 in [1])

This demo uses mathieu_mathieu function.

You can launch it from Scilab menu "? -> Scilab Demonstrations -> Mathieu functions -> Plots of ce, se (z,q) of order 0-5 for q=1,10 for comparison with Abramowitz and Stegun".
